Car-body

Allowed are only bodys out of the materials hard-plastic, GFK (except class 1b) or resine in the  scale 1/24-1/25. The originals have to be driven in professionell motorsport since 1975. In the top view the body has to cover tires and guide completely. Lexan screens are allowed.

The paint and decals should be original or at least contemporary.

 

Because there are 2 races per day the following classification will be done:


Class 1 (GT and Touring cars )

These are cars out of the categories GT2, GT3, GTS, DTM, STW, JGTC, ETW, street licensed super sport cars and similars.

Class1a:

All cars, that are lower than 47,5 mm.

Class 1a cars must have a rear wing (minimum 3partsā wing + 2 side plates). To assemble the wing on the body the following methods are allowed: parts from the kit, foam rubber + kit parts or covering, or rubber.

Class 1b:

All cars, that are higher than 47,5mm or very small cars.

The body height is measured without chassis. Class 1a cars, that are modified for example broadened, can loose their 1a status and can be upgraded to Class 1b. Bodys of the class 1b are regular resine or hard-plastic.

 

Every class has its own winner of the day.

 

Class2 (Prototypes) 

These are cars out of the categories GT1, LMP, WSC, Gr.C, GTP, ..

Class 2 cars must have a rear wing (minimum 3partsā wing + 2 side plates). To assemble the wing on the body the following methods are allowed: parts from the kit, foam rubber + kit parts or covering, or rubber.

Broadening the body is not allowed. (Exception is the GT1 Porsche from Tamiya who can be broadened in the front)

 

Class2a: GTP, GR-C,..  till 1993

Class2b: GT1, LMP, WSC, GTP ,…  since 1994


Every class has its own winner of the day.


Inlet

A 3 dimensional car inlet has to be used. The driver has to be separate. The inlet has to cover all technical units. Dashboard, seats, and other  parts  should be used from the Kit.


Driver figure

The driver figure must be out of the materials resine or  hard plastic.


Rear wing

The required rear wing of class 1a and 2 can be removed, when the original version also had no rear wing. This has to be verified by a photo from the original. The slotcar has to be in the original design   (paint, decal ).

   

Chassis

The chassis is free selectable. Advised are chassis from Motor Modern, Plafit, Sakatsu or Schöler.

It is only allowed to glue lead to the inner side of the chassis. If lead is assembled on the outer side of the chassis, it has to be screwed like additional weights with other materials. The maximum chassis width (all parts with more weight than aluminum) for class 1 and 2b is 70mm.

The chassis clearance has to be at minimum 0.8mm before and after the race.

  

The wheel tread

Class 1a max. 83mm

Class 1b max  80mm

Class 2   max 85mm

Motor, brush (slide contact), and guide

Brush (slide contact), guide and motor cable are free selectable.

Motor class2: Fox 2

Motor class1: Fox (Plafit), F10 (Sakatsu) and FOX10 (Jens/Slotvision/Werk/JP), original, with original sticker.

Any manipulating or opening of the motor is strictly forbidden.

 

Tires, wheels, gear, axles and bearings

The rear tires have to be from black foam rubber. The tire width for class 1+ 2b is max. 13mm and for class 2a max. 16mm. The front tires must have a contact patch of minimum 5mm. Material is free selectable, but must be black.

The diameter of the tire should be oriented to the diameter of the kit-tires. The wheel is free selectable. The wheel inlets must match to the car type.

Material and gear transmission ratio can be free selected. Axles must be 3mm in diameter. Material can be free selected.

  

Weight

The weight of the ready to race car must be at least minimum 185g

  

Miscellaneous

I there is something unclear, please ask the organizer of the race series. The final decision about the approval of the race car, will be done on the race day by the race management.

 

What not explicit is allowed, is forbidden.
