The SRC Hamburg invites to a group C Le Mans team-race on the 10.04.2010 at the Renncenter Hamburg

 

Body:

 

General:

1. Allowed are only closed group C cars , witch were driven in Le Mans  1981-1993. The bodys have to be  out of the materials hard-plastic, GFK or resine in the  scale 1/24.

2. The cars must be in the original version.

3. To ensure, that every version is only once present, the version has to be announced before paying the start-charge. The easy versions should be for the biginners.

4. Changes in the body are only allowed, when this has been taken over from the original. Broadening is forbidden.

5.  In the top view the body has to cover tires and guide completely. Lexan screens are allowed.

6. A 3 dimensional car inlet has to be used. The driver has to be separate. The inlet has to cover all technical units. Dashboard, seats, and other  parts  should be used from the Kit. The driver figure must be out of the materials resine or  hard plastic.

  

Light:

 1.Every car must have front and rear  lights (both sides). These lights have to be powered by a goldcap circuit (for example from SC24 or Overdrive).

2. The front lights have to be white or yellow, the rear lights red.

3. During the complete night-turn the light must be switched on. Minimum 1 front and 1 rear light must have function, otherwise the light has to be repaired within 10 rounds. 

Chassis:

 The chassis is free selectable. Advised are chassis from Motor Modern, Plafit, Sakatsu or Schöler.

It is only allowed to glue lead to the inner side of the chassis. If lead is assembled on the outer side of the chassis, it has to be screwed like additional weights with other materials.

The chassis clearance has to be at minimum 0.8mm before and after the race.

Motor, brush (slide contact), and guide

Brush (slide contact), guide and motor cable are free selectable.

The following motors are allowed: Mabuchi Fox 13D, Fox II and the Sakatsu F10. Any manipulating or opening of the motor is strictly forbidden. Advised is the FoxII.

Tires, wheels, gear, axles and bearings:

The rear tires have to be from black foam rubber. The tire width is max. 16mm. The front tires must have a contact patch of minimum 5mm. Material is free selectable, but must be black.

The diameter of the tire should be oriented to the diameter of the kit-tires. The wheel is free selectable. The wheel inlets must match to the car type.

Material and gear transmission ratio can be free selected. Axles must be 3mm in diameter. Material can be free selected.

Bearings are free selectable.

Weight:

The weight of the ready to race car must be at least minimum 185g

Other:

What not explicit is allowed, is forbidden.

Race  agenda:

Every team has 2 drivers.  The race take place with 2 person teams. Every team races 4 times the 5 lanes (app. 6min). The complete driving time is app. 120 minutes. Every team member has to drive 2 complete heats. During heat 3 and heat 4 , when the room light is dimmed, the car light has to be switched on. Between the day and the night heats, there will be 10 minutes time for car-care.

The starting grid for heat 1 will be assigned. Staring grid for the following heats will be done by the intermediate result after every heat.

Valuation:

 

The final result ist the combinated result of the race and concours (Pt. race + Pt concours).

The points fort he concours will be assigned by a jury. For requirement see DTSW concours. Maximum 20 points can be achieved.

 

Registration:

The Number of participants is limited to max. 22 teams. Nomination begin is 15.08.2009 13:00. (3 places will be reserved for international Teams till 15.11.09)

 Together with the nomination the car and version should be announced.

Basic for the rules are the DTSW rules.

Start fee is 50€ per team including  sucking pig and dessert buffet, and has to be paid till 15.11.09

Persons , who don’t can or want to eat sucking pig, please get in contact with the organization. We will find together a solution.
